Preparing Individuals and Families for Sustainable, Permanent Housing

SoulScribe Me Inc.’s Housing Programs are designed to guide participants toward mental, emotional, and spiritual readiness for independent living, while building the skills, resilience, and systems knowledge required for long-term housing success.

Our program is tailored to support individuals and families who have completed preparatory guidance and are ready for structured housing development. Target populations include:

  • Single-parent households with four or more children
  • Veterans aged 55+ • Participants in HASA programs
  • Participants in OMH programs
  • Veterans requiring housing support
  • Disabled individuals 
  • OASAS Youth Housing Program participants

All applicants must:

  1. Complete a 12-week preparatory program (Tanya Nycole Bates LLC or equivalent preparatory program)
  2. Demonstrate goal attainment with proficiency and dedication
  3. Engage fully in mental, emotional, and spiritual readiness training Graduates who complete the program successfully hold priority for housing placement, including shelters and similar programs.
  1. Assessment & Planning • Evaluate readiness across key life domains (mental, emotional, spiritual) • Identify personal strengths and areas for growth
  2. Skill Development & Support • Life skills: budgeting, time management, self-advocacy, independent living • Emotional resilience, stress management, and interpersonal communication
  3. Housing Placement Preparation • Guidance on navigating shelters, community housing, and transitional programs • Build advocacy skills for long-term stability
  4. Follow-Up & Continuous Support • Support clients through transition into housing placements • Check-ins to reinforce progress and sustainable habits

Priority & Placement Notes

  • Graduates of the 12-week preparatory program are prioritized for housing placement
  • Applicants from shelters and similar transitional programs may receive additional consideration 
  • Program rules, eligibility, and priority status are subject to change based on funding, availability, and regulatory guidance
